Day 1 : Arrival & Transfer To Phuentsholling From Airport /IXB - NJP - Overnight stay at Phuentsholing or Jaigaon .

Our representative will be there to receive the Guest at New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction) – He will be assisting to reach Phuentsholling /Jaigaon - Phuentsholling is 170 kilometers and 4 to 4 ½ hour’s drive from Siliguri - Phuentsholling is in India and Bhutan border-The Indian side is called Jaigaon and the Bhutanese side is called Phuentsholling , Situated at an altitude of nearly 980 feet is a small settlement-Foreigners need to have Bhutan Visa clearance documents if they want to visit the rest of Bhutan -They should carry passport size photos and passport along with visa clearance documents-Foreigners without proper documents won`t be allowed in Bhutan-Indian Nationals don’t require visa or passport to visit rest of Bhutan but any identity document like election commission I.D card is required-Permit is not required for visiting Phuentsholling only but other parts of Bhutan-Check into the hotel- In the evening one can go about in auto rickshaw exploring the place -Overnight stay in Phuentsholling or Jaigaon .

Day 2 : Transfer to Thimpu after Permit & formalities -From Pheontsheoling - Overnight stay at Thimpu -

Permit to be obtained and Transfer to Thimpu (2350 meters / 7710 feet) - The drive is 179 kilometers and is 6 ½ - 7 hours drive – Early morning breakfast – Obtain permit with assistance from our representative - Proceed for Thimpu – The drive is beautiful, and one can see some waterfalls along the way – Thimpu is a charming city, probably the smallest capital in the world, resting in the heart of the Himalayas - The skyline hardly changes as new buildings are all constructed in traditional Bhutanese style - It is situated in the western central part of Bhutan – It is a lively place, interesting combination of tradition and modernity - Thimpu is situated at an elevation of 2350 meters / 7710 feet - Reach Thimpu - Check into your hotel on arrival - Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu

Day 3 : Thimpu sightseeing - Full Day - Overnight stay at Thimpu -

– Early morning breakfast – Drive and visit the Memorial Chorten (Stupa) built in memory of the third King of Bhutan, Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, who was called the Father of modern Bhutan - Next the National Library where ancient manuscripts are preserved, Wood Craft and Painting School - The handicrafts Emporium which has beautiful and creative collection of textile arts, and indigenous fibres-Future plans of becoming a center of textile learning - Trashichhoedzong is also called fortress of the glorious religion-The dzong houses main secretariat building and is the throne of His Majesty, King Of Bhutan-During the summer months His Holiness,Je Khenpo visits the dzong.-The car will be at your disposal – Other places to visit are National Zoo, National Institute of Traditional medicine, Traditional Paper Factory(made from Daphne Plant)-Please note it is not possible to cover all the sites mentioned above in a single day-Back to Hotel-In the evening local markets like handicraft shops, weekend market(Saturdays and Sundays),Craft Bazaar(Tuesday and Wednesday) can be visited-Overnight stay in Thimphu

Day 4 : Transfer from Thimpu to Gangtey

Early morning head for Gangtey - The drive from Thimphu to Gangtey is approximately 125 kilometers and is nearly 05 hours drive by road - From Thimphu drive up to Dochula pass at an elevation of 3050 meters - Guests have an opportunity to view the peaks of the eastern Himalayas - En route, stop at Dochula Pass where you will have a coffee break while appreciating the striking view of Mt. Himalaya - Guests will also visit the grand 108 stupas - After that, one can continue driving to Gangtey - It is a beautiful and tranquil place surrounded by lush forests - This evening remains free - If guests are interested, one can stroll around the Gangtey Valley and pay a visit to the exquisite Gangtey Goempo - Night stay at Gangtey

Day 5 : Transfer from Gangtey to Bumthang via Trongsa

It is approximately 200 kilometers and is nearly 07 hours drive by road - Early morning a scenic drive to Bumthang, the most historic dzongkhag with extraordinary sceneries - After breakfast, we depart from Gangtey, cross the Pele La Pass and visit the Chendebji Chorten, a large white structure beside a stream - Later stop at Trongsa for lunch and visit its huge white Trongsa Dzong with a distinctive yellow roof - After that continue your adventure to Bumthang after crossing the Yotong La Pass - Bumthang is a district in the north-central region of Bhutan and due to the great number of temples and sacred sites, it is often referred to as the spiritual heartland of the country - Bumthang valley consists of Ura, Chumey, Tang and Choekhor valleys - Stay overnight in Bumthang

Day 6 : Bumthang Sightseeing

Bumthang is justifiably regarded as Bhutan's cultural heartland where the landscape is dotted with palaces, ancient temples and monasteries - We will take the whole day to explore the Bumthang valley by visiting the grand Kurje Lhakhang, Jambey Lhakang, Tamshing Lhakhang and Jakar Dzong, the administrative center of Bumthang - After that we lead you to stroll in the village and have a close contact with the local people and visit a local handicraft shop - In the afternoon, do a short hike to the Lhodrak Kharchhu Monastery, a remarkable Tibetan Buddhist monastery - Night stay at Bumathang

Day 7 : Transfer from Bumthang to Punakha

It is approximately 200 kilometers and is nearly 07 hours drive by road - This morning we take a short time to stroll around the town and later start for a long drive to Punakha - This is a scenic drive, passing many small villages, waterfalls with spectacular landscape, crossing Black mountains, the ever-changing vegetation and finally arriving in the warm valley of Punakha. As the valley is at a lower elevation of about 1250 meters / 4100 feet above sea level, it enjoys subtropical climate with warm summers and pleasant winters - After a short rest at the hotel, we guide you to today's highlight - Punakha Dzong. It is a very beautiful Bhutanese architecture located at the confluence of Pho Chu and Mo Chu rivers - Night Stay at Punakha

Day 8 : Transfer From Punakha/Wangdue To Paro

After breakfast drive to Punakha/Wangdue. After lunch visit Chimi Lakhang Temples lies in the fertile Lobesa villge of Punakha Valley. The temple is dedicated to the divine madman-Saint Drukpa Kuenley and the temple is also known as the Temple of Fertility. The temple is accessible by 20-25 minutes from the village near the junction of the road that branches out to Wangdue and Punakha. We first walk through the village of Sosokha and then gradually hike through the paddy fields to Lobesa Village and arrive at the temple. The temple is associated with Lama Drukpa Kuenley lived in Bhutan around the 1500s. He was a highly accomplished Buddhist master but he was called Divine Madman for his humorous approach and sexual overtones in his teachings. As per the legend, Lama Drukpa Kuenley subdued a demoness here who was terrorizing the residents of the valley and marked the site for the temple to be built later by his cousin. It’s a general belief that if a childless couple visits the temple and wishes for fertility, they will be blessed by Lama Drukpa Kuenley and will be able to bear children. Nobody knows exactly how and when the tradition of seeking fertility blessing started in Chimi Lhakhang but today, the temple is famous as the Temple of Fertility. Overnight stay in Paro.

Day 9 : Paro Sight Seeing - Chela La ( Pass) & Haa Valley - Overnight stay at Paro -

After Breakfast: Excursion to PARO Extra Point: Chele La (Pass) & Haa Valley Only (Border of the Bhutan and China): At an elevation 3,988 meters is considered to be one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. About an hour's drive along a thickly-forested road, is this Pass-a botanical paradise. The pass provides stunning views of the sacred mountain Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake. It is also marked by hundreds of prayer flags fluttering in the wind. Here, visitors can see cascades of wild roses; purple and yellow primulas; and swathes of deep blue iris covering the forest floor. The top of the pass bloom with rhododendrons in a variety of colors-pale pink, deep pink, burnt orange, mauve, white and scarlet.

Day 10 : Paro Sightseeing -Full Day - Overnight stay at Paro -

Early morning breakfast-Morning excursion to Taktsang Monastery, also called the Tiger’s Nest-Guru Rinpoche/Padmasambhava is believed to have meditated here for three years, three months and three days in 8th Century-The monastery clings to a cliff which is 800 metres above the ground-Walk of 2 hours-Back to hotel for Lunch-After Lunch visit to Drukgyel Dzongs, was a fortress built to commemorate victory over the invading Tibetan forces-Destroyed by fire in 1950-KyichuLhakhang is one of those 108 monasteries constructed miraculously by King Songten Gampo in one night,-Other places to visit are Jangsarbu Lhakhang,Druk Choeding,Dungtse Lhakhang-Adventure sports like trekking, hiking and bird watching is also available in Paro-Please note it is not possible to cover all the places mentioned in a single day-In the evening free to visit local markets-Overnight stay in Paro

Day 11 : Departure – Transfer from Paro to Phuentsholling –

Early morning breakfast - Transfer from Paro to Jaigaon / Phuentsholling - A drive of nearly 150 kilometers, a drive of approximately 3 ½ - 4 hours – On the way take a short stop at Chuzom, the confluence of Paro and Thimphu rivers with three different style of stupas adorn this confluence - Drive further through Chapcha and later take glimpse of famous Chukha Dam and the magnificent Vince waterfall before Gedu town - Arrive at Phuenthsoling by evening .
